CBF Ventures is owned and operated by Chris Friesen, a veteran in the training industry since 1995.
Chris’ training career began in the hospitality industry where he developed practical courses for new chefs and front-end staff.
Always looking for new challenges, Chris left the hospitality industry and began working with a small, franchise company.
Starting out as a trainer, Chris worked his way up to Director of Training and wrote the first complete, three-week, ‘live’ training program used for all new franchises.
He followed this up by developing the Area Representative training program: a seven-day, in depth course designed to help new area developers maximize their visibility and marketing potential in their respective areas. Under Chris’ exceptional training leadership, the franchise grew to 250 location and both courses are regarded as the industry standard.
After five years, Chris realized the franchise industry could not satisfy his one true passion: computers, so he founded CBF Ventures and entered the competitive e-Learning industry. It proved the perfect fit. With his talent for training partnered with his computer savvy, it wasn’t long before CBF Ventures landed an exclusive contract with an on-line learning institution.
Today, over 20,000 people a year better themselves through e-Learning courses developed by CBF Ventures.
